We sat around an old, beaten table, eating small amounts of bread and a few berries Ludwig found in a field. We were talking about what was going to happen from this point on. Feliciano urged the group to find more survivors so that there could be more protection, but Lovino argued that they will take up to much space and that there wouldn't be enough food for everyone.

"But, Fratello! If-a we bring more-a people, then they can-a help us find-a food too!"

"They can-a also be our-a worst fucking enemy! They-a can also stab us in the-a back and possibly kill-a us all!" Lovina growled.

Feliciano puffed his cheeks out and turned to Ludwig.

"What do-a you think Ludwig?"

Ludwig looked up from the old newspapers he found on the front porch, and to Feliciano then to Lovino and finally back to the newspaper, keeping a stoic expression.

"Don't bring me into this."

Ludwig let out a small yawn and stood up.

"If any of you need me, I'll be in the living room resting." And with that, he walked away.

Everyone watched him walk out before looking back at the Vargas brother's argument.

I watched them bicker back and forth, trying to bring the others into the conversation. An amused expression on my face could be seen as Arthur would join here and there. I felt someone put a hand on my shoulder. I looked up, my eyes widening as I stared at the thing behind me.

It grabbed me by the hair and threw me to the ground.

"ZOMBIE!" I heard someone yell, then feet hitting the ground.

It crawled on top of me, blood spewed out of its mouth and onto my face. I shut my eyes close and felt around, desperately trying to grab a hold on anything sharp. My fingers felt a hard, cold object laying there. I curved my fingers and pushed it towards my palm, grabbing it firmly and stabbing it. It fell backwards and landed on its back. I pushed myself backwards, trying to get as far as possible from the zombie and trying to wipe the blood off my face.

"(Name)! Are you okay?!" I heard Alfred's voice, before I was lifted up.

I heard a few gunshots and then a door open.

"Don't worry, (Name)! I'll clean you up, just hold on."

I felt myself being placed on something soft, a bed? I heard a zipper and objects being taken out.

"Alfred?" I asked confused.

"Hold on. I'll be right back." I heard his feet faintly.

I sighed and put my hands on my face.

"I really need to pay attention to my surroundings." I muttered.

"Yea you do."

I felt something cold and wet being placed on my cheek. I squirmed a bit.

"Calm do, it's just a wet cloth." Alfred placed a hand on my shoulder and pushed me down.

He wiped my face, getting rid of the blood.

"Did it bite you?" He sounded considered.

"No. I stabbed it before it got the chance." I sighed.

"Good."

It was silent for a few minutes before he spoke again.

"Okay. All done. You can open your eyes now."

I did as told, and opened my eyes. I inhaled sharply, seeing how close Alfred was. He had a dark blush covering his cheeks. His blue eyes staring at me intensely as his blonde hair fell slightly on his face.

"Your eyes are gorgeous." He whispered.

I felt my face heat up more as his breath hit my lips slightly.

"T-thank you."

He leaned in slightly, closing his eyes. I followed, my heart racing. It felt like forever before I felt his soft lips on mine. I could feel him giving a small smile. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist.

After a few minutes, we finally pulled away, breathing heavily.

"You're a great kisser." He winked before standing up.

I bit my lip as my blush darkened.

"Not bad yourself." I smiled softly.

He grinned and kissed my forehead.

"You should get some rest." He said and walked towards the door.

"And try not to get attacked by anymore zombies, please." He smirked, before shutting the door closed.

I rolled my eyes and laid down, a smile covering my face.
